May Lyn

Malaysia-born, Brisbane-based artist, May Lyn draws influences from R&B and ambient soundscapes, expressing herself through lush electronic beats that combine texturally rich and fluid layers with honest and sincere lyricism. Carrying her tunes with strength and emotionally vulnerable vocals, her eclectic, genre-defying sound has been dubbed as Atmospheric Future R&B.

In 2015, May Lyn released her debut EP, ‘Ascension’ with Dub Temple Records. Following up with a new single in December 2016, ‘Escape’ has received support from triple j Unearthed, rage, and 4ZZZ – reaching #11 on their Top 20s chart.
