Fiona Soe Paing
Fiona Soe Paing is Scottish-Burmese electronic music producer and vocalist, based in rural Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
Fiona Soe Paing has been evolving her unique brand of vocal-led electronica since 2007. Her first home demo sung in phrasebook Burmese, was found on Myspace by BBC musicologist the late Charlie Gillett and released on Warner Music on his “Sound of The World 2007” compilation.
With a background in performance art, Fiona has undertaken collaborations with animation artists and with Beth Orton on a collaborative residency at Brighter Sound, Manchester.
